Nestlé USA is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of its Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough "break and bake" bars due to the potential presence of wood pieces. The affected products, produced on April 24 and April 25, 2023, and with best-by dates of Aug. 22 or Oct. 23, 2023, were sold nationwide. No illnesses or injuries have been reported, and the recall does not affect other Nestlé products. Consumers are advised to return the affected items to the place of purchase for a replacement or refund. Nestlé is working with the FDA and assures that this is an isolated issue.
