"Chinese Satellites Enter Lunar Orbit, Fate of 2 Unclear"

Three Chinese satellites, including the Queqiao-2 communication relay satellite, have successfully entered lunar orbit, while the fate of two others remains unclear after apparent rescue efforts. The two smaller satellites, Tiandu-1 and Tiandu-2, also successfully entered lunar orbit to test lunar navigation technologies. The status of the DRO-A/B satellites, which failed to reach their designated altitude due to an upper-stage rocket issue, remains uncertain. Queqiao-2 will conduct communication tests with the Chang'e 4 spacecraft on the moon's far side and pave the way for China's upcoming Chang'e 6 mission to collect and return moon samples from the lunar far side.

"Queqiao-2: China's New Lunar Relay Satellite"

China's Queqiao-2 relay satellite has successfully entered lunar orbit, setting the stage for a future lunar far side sample return mission. The spacecraft will be crucial for communication during the upcoming Chang'e-6 mission, and it is part of China's broader plans for lunar exploration, including supporting the ongoing Chang'e-4 mission and future missions targeting the lunar south pole. Queqiao-2 also carries payloads for the science objectives of the 2026 Chang'e-7 mission and is intended to support international lunar exploration efforts.

"Chinese Lander Constructs Moon Base Using Dust Bricks"

The China National Space Administration (CNSA) is planning to build a shelter on the Moon's south pole using a special device to squeeze moon soil into bricks and a robot to assemble them, with the goal of creating a prototype habitat for a future research station. The upcoming Chang'e 8 mission, scheduled for 2028, will deliver the necessary equipment, including a lander that can melt lunar soil into "functional parts" and a robot for assembling the bricks. Despite the challenges of constructing a permanent structure on the lunar surface, China's rapid advancements in lunar exploration make this ambitious plan a possibility.

China's Lunar Base Plans Progress Despite NASA's Absence.

China plans to construct a moon base using bricks of lunar soil within the next decade, with the help of advanced robotics and careful engineering. The nation has already been probing the possibility of constructing a moon base for some time, and scientists have created a prototype using 3D-printed bricks of lunar soil. The mission, titled Chang'e-8, is projected to begin before 2028, with an additional mission in the works to study the far side of the moon as well, called the Chang'e-6. The creation of the China moon base could unearth water molecules, allowing the moon to function as a refueling station for oncoming spacecraft.

China's Lunar Base Plans Accelerate with Moon Soil Bricks and Robots.

China plans to construct a moon base using bricks of lunar soil with the help of advanced robotics and careful engineering. Over 100 experts have met to work out the details of the infrastructure requirements needed to build the base, which could be established before 2030. The concept of lunar bricks has been tested by scientists, who created a prototype of the projected China moon base using 3D-printed bricks of lunar soil. The mission, titled Chang'e-8, is scheduled to begin before 2028, with an additional mission in the works to study the far side of the moon as well, called the Chang'e-6.
