Microsoft has expanded support for its ChatGPT-powered Bing AI experience to Google Chrome, allowing users to access the chatbot on bing.com. However, there are some limitations in Chrome, such as shorter conversation prompts and a lower message limit before the conversation resets. Additionally, Microsoft has added dark mode support to Bing AI, featuring a pure black theme.
Google has launched an experimental version of Search called Search Generative Experience (SGE), which uses AI to answer questions directly on the Google Search webpage. SGE is not yet open to the public and requires signing up to Google's Search Labs, which is currently available only to a limited number of people in the US and in English only. Microsoft Edge 111 update includes the new Bing Chat AI and Edge Copilot, which features a giant new Bing button at the top-right of the browser window that directly opens the new Discover pane with three tabs available. The sidebar opens if you roll your mouse over the Bing button, which Microsoft says can maximize the productivity and convenience of the sidebar without sacrificing valuable screen space. The update also includes an updated Microsoft Feed for the enterprise version of the browser and enhanced security mode.
