The first systems featuring Thunderbolt 5 are expected to launch in 2024.

Broadband provider Zen Internet has advised users to move their WiFi routers away from electronic devices, microwaves and Bluetooth equipment to improve connectivity. The company also recommends using wired connections for devices that do not move around, such as desktop computers, and using powerline adapters or WiFi extenders to boost signal range. Zen Internet also suggests investing in a mesh network to merge extenders with the main router. The company advises users to ensure their router allows for 'band steering' and to kick unused devices off the internet to boost bandwidth.
