Team Cherry has announced that Kickstarter backers of Hollow Knight will receive codes for Hollow Knight: Silksong, which is set to launch on September 4 across multiple platforms, marking the first update in six years. The codes will be available for PC and Switch versions, with the game also releasing on consoles and Game Pass. The update follows a long wait and builds anticipation for the game's release, which is already drawing significant attention and high player engagement.
Hasbro's Ghostbusters Two in the Box HasLab has surpassed 20,000 backers, breaking records and unlocking the final stretch goal of the Engineer Corp patch. The campaign has offered various tiers of rewards, including a Ghost Trap holster and a PKE Meter Holster. A recent video showcasing the prototypes of the Ghost Trap and PKE Meter has generated significant attention, resulting in a surge of over 3,000 new backers. The campaign has surpassed the previous Ghostbusters HasLab record for overall backers. The campaign will conclude on December 11th, 2023.
Mythic Games, with the backing of Ubisoft, is asking backers of the officially-licensed board game adaptation of Rainbow Six: Siege to pay more money due to manufacturing cost overruns caused by the pandemic and international conditions. Backers of the $69 edition are being asked to pay an additional $39, $199 backers will need to pay $99 more and the $269 backers are being asked to pay an extra $129. This is not the first time Mythic has had to ask for extra money, and fans are upset at being asked to pay so much more.
