The CEO of Nigeria's largest bank, Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, and son were among six people killed in a helicopter crash in the Mojave desert along the California-Nevada border. The helicopter, an Airbus EC-130, departed from Palm Springs airport and was en route to Boulder City, Nevada. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration. Nigeria's president expressed condolences, and Access Bank officials confirmed the identities of those killed.
