A privately chartered helicopter crashed in California's Mojave Desert, killing all six people on board, including Herbert Wigwe, the chief executive of Access Bank, his wife, son, and a prominent Nigerian lawyer. The crash occurred in wintry conditions, and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating. The helicopter, operated by Orbic Air, was not required to have a cockpit voice recorder or a flight data recorder. This incident follows a separate helicopter crash in California that resulted in the deaths of five Marines.
