Killer Whales Cause Chaos in Spanish and Portuguese Waters.

A pod of killer whales has been repeatedly ramming boats in the Atlantic coast of the Iberian Peninsula, causing damage to the vessels. The incidents have been increasing in frequency, with 207 registered in 2022 alone. Researchers are unsure of the cause of this behavior, but have identified 15 individual whales involved in the incidents. The whales are a small group of about 35 that spend most of the year near the Iberian coast in pursuit of red tuna. There have been no reports of attacks against swimmers.
