SpaceX's Crew-7 Mission: Studying Spaceflight's Impact on Astronauts

Crew-7 astronauts have arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) to conduct a six-month mission focused on studying the effects of spaceflight on the human body. The crew will be working on a suite of experiments called CIPHER, which consists of 14 different experiments aimed at understanding how spaceflight changes the human body based on duration. The experiments will collect data on bone strength, eye health, cardiovascular functioning, and muscle atrophy. The findings will be crucial for future crewed missions to the Moon and Mars, as they will help researchers understand the long-term effects of space travel on the human body.
