Astrobee robot returns to ISS hive in NASA's groundbreaking mission

NASA's Astrobee robot named Honey has returned to the International Space Station (ISS) after a flight to Earth for repairs. The cube-shaped robot, along with its companions Bumble and Queen, is designed to assist astronauts with tasks such as documenting experiments and taking inventory. Honey successfully disengaged from its docking station, maneuvered through the space station, and redocked without crew supervision. The Astrobee fleet, managed by NASA's Ames Research Center, arrived on the ISS in 2019 and has been used for mid-air maneuvers and autonomous flight.
