UAE's historic mission to explore the asteroid belt.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Space Agency has announced plans to launch the MBR Explorer spacecraft on a seven-year mission to orbit seven asteroids and land on the asteroid Justitia in May 2035. The mission aims to study the origin and evolution of water-rich asteroids and provide valuable information about the origin of water on Earth and other planets in the Solar System. The spacecraft will be equipped with two cameras and two spectrometers to capture high-resolution images and collect data on the asteroids' temperatures and geological characteristics. If successful, the mission will be the Middle East's first and the world's fifth to land a spacecraft on an asteroid.
