NASA Observes Northrop Grumman Cygnus Departing Space Station

NASA will provide live coverage of Northrop Grumman's Cygnus spacecraft departure from the International Space Station on December 22. The spacecraft, which delivered supplies and cargo to the station, will be detached by the Canadarm2 robotic arm and released into space. After a deorbit engine firing in January, Cygnus will safely burn up in Earth's atmosphere.
