Dream Chaser Space Plane Gears Up for Second Launch as Vulcan Flight Approaches

Sierra Space's Dream Chaser, a mini space shuttle-like spacecraft, is preparing for its second launch as it gears up to join SpaceX and Northrop Grumman for commercial resupply missions to the International Space Station (ISS). Named Tenacity, the uncrewed spacecraft will undergo environmental tests in Ohio before heading to the Space Coast for its mission. Dream Chaser is set to launch atop United Launch Alliance's Vulcan Centaur rocket, which is also preparing for its first mission to send the Astrobotic Peregrine lunar lander to the moon. Sierra Space has plans to expand Dream Chaser to support crew and is working on a commercial low-Earth-orbit space station called Orbital Reef in partnership with Blue Origin.
