ISRO Video Reveals Aditya L1's SUIT Capturing the Sun in Space

India's Aditya-L1 mission, dedicated to studying the Sun, has successfully captured full-disk images of the star in near ultraviolet wavelengths using the Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) instrument. Developed by the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) in collaboration with ISRO, SUIT allows for unprecedented observations of the Sun's lower and middle layers without atmospheric interference. The mission aims to enhance our understanding of the Sun's dynamics and its influence on space weather phenomena, providing insights into the effects of solar radiation on Earth's climate.
