Illuminating the Moon: Giant Lamp Posts to Guide Future Lunar Explorers

Honeybee Robotics has proposed the installation of a 100-meter-tall lamp-post-like tower on the Moon's surface as part of DARPA's Lunar Architecture initiative. The tower, called LUNARSABER, would illuminate the surroundings of the Moon's outpost during nighttime, increasing the operational hours for human and robotic missions on the lunar surface.
