NASA astronaut Frank Rubio is adjusting to life back on Earth after spending a record-setting 371 days in space. Rubio experienced discomfort in his feet and lower back due to the effects of gravity. He returned to Earth after a Soyuz spacecraft, which was originally intended as an emergency backup vehicle, developed a coolant leak. Rubio now holds the record for the longest time an American has spent in space, surpassing the previous record of 355 consecutive days. During his mission, Rubio attempted to grow a tomato in space but lost track of it.
