UAE's New Space Mission: Exploring the Asteroid Belt.

The United Arab Emirates has announced plans to send a spacecraft to explore the solar system's main asteroid belt to study seven asteroids, including Justitia, which could provide insight into the origins of life on Earth. The 13-year project will take six years of development and seven years of exploration, spanning more than 5 billion kilometres. The spacecraft, named MBR, will be developed by private UAE start-up companies and could be the start of the country's desire to extract resources from asteroids or even build a colony on Mars by 2117.
