Multiple Asteroids Set to Pass Earth, NASA Reports

NASA has announced that an aircraft-sized asteroid, named Asteroid 2010 XF3, will pass by Earth today at a distance of 7.4 million kilometers. Moving at a speed of approximately 14,304 kilometers per hour, the asteroid belongs to the Aten group of Earth-crossing Near-Earth Asteroids (NEAs). Although nearly 150 feet wide, it is not designated as a Potentially Hazardous Asteroid.
