Incoming Destructive Solar Storm Threatens Earth

Another coronal mass ejection (CME) cloud is expected to strike the Earth on April 27, sparking a geomagnetic storm. Despite being a glancing blow, it can still cause a G1 to G2 class geomagnetic storm, leading to radio blackouts, GPS disruptions, and damage to smaller satellites.
