Weekend Meteor Shower Peaks: Mark Your Calendars!

The next three meteor shower peaks, including the Perseids, Delta Aquariids, and Alpha Capricornids, will all fall on weekends, making it convenient for stargazers. The Perseids, which will peak on August 12 or 13, are expected to be the best meteor shower of the year, with up to 100 meteors per hour visible. The Delta Aquariids, visible primarily in the southern tropics, will have a longer window for viewing but are less impressive. The Alpha Capricornids, visible from July 7 to August 15, are weaker but can produce impressive fireballs.
