"Oregon Prepares for Spectacular Eclipse Events on October 14"

As the annular solar eclipse on October 14 approaches, Oregon is gearing up with various events and watch parties to witness the rare celestial phenomenon. From large-scale campouts to casual gatherings, people are making plans to see the "ring of fire" eclipse, which won't occur in Oregon again until 2046. While those within a 90-mile-wide band will experience the maximum eclipse, others outside the band, including Portland, will witness a partial eclipse.
