Winter Storms Bring Slick Roads and Unsettled Weather Across US

An upper level low pressure system moving northward along the California coast is bringing increasing rain and mountain snow to the Oregon/California border, with light accumulations expected. Widespread precipitation is expected late tonight through Monday afternoon, with moderate snowfall possible above 4500 feet along east slopes of the Cascades. Overnight lows will drop into the 20s and 30s, with drier conditions returning on Tuesday and highs mainly in the 40s for the week.
