Northern Lights spotted in Northern California.

The Northern Lights were visible in parts of Northern California on Thursday night, with a Pacific Gas and Electric Co. camera near Mount Shasta capturing the lights seemingly dancing across the sky in waves. The National Weather Service had issued a severe geomagnetic storm alert, letting people know they may have been able to spot the Northern Lights, even as far south as Alabama.
