Air Quality Woes: Outdoor Activities Cancelled Across Multiple US Cities

Due to poor air quality caused by smoke from Canadian wildfires, Minneapolis has canceled some outdoor activities, including adult and youth leagues and active outdoor lessons. However, less physically strenuous activities like Music and Movies in the Parks, swimming, and golf are not canceled. Some active outdoor recreation programs will be moved indoors if possible. Minneapolis City SC's soccer match against Thunder Bay Chill has also been moved indoors and will be closed to fans. This year, Minnesota has already set a new record with 23 air quality alerts.
