Tesla's Gigafactory in Austin, Texas is set to have the world's largest solar rooftop installation upon completion, with approximately 30 megawatts of power. Phase 1 of the solar array has been completed, and the roof will consist of around 70,000 solar panels across the 10 million square foot factory. The facility is also expanding to include electric vehicle battery production and cathode manufacturing.
