"Hydrogen Hubs in Pennsylvania Secure $7 Billion in US Grants"

Two hydrogen hub projects, one in the mid-Atlantic region and one in the Appalachian region, partially located in Pennsylvania, will receive a portion of $7 billion in U.S. federal grants aimed at accelerating the deployment of clean hydrogen. The grants, to be announced by President Joe Biden's administration, are part of the plan to produce 50 million metric tons of clean hydrogen fuel by 2050 and decarbonize the U.S. economy. The Mid-Atlantic Clean Hydrogen Hub will receive a $750 million grant, while the Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub (ARCH2) will also receive funding. These grants mark a significant victory for Pennsylvania and will help the state in its battle for political influence.
