"White House Allocates $623M for Nationwide EV Charging Network Expansion"

The White House has announced $623m in funding to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure across 22 states, aiming to add 7,500 chargers and support the transition to zero-carbon transportation. With a goal of 500,000 chargers, the US is taking the lead in global electric vehicle adoption, but challenges remain, including the affordability of EVs and the need for more charging points to meet demand. Additionally, the Environmental Protection Agency has allocated nearly $1bn to replace diesel-powered school buses with electric and lower-emitting vehicles.
