Toyota's EV Strategy Shifts Under New CEO's Leadership.

Toyota plans to introduce 10 new EV models by 2026 with a goal of 1.5 million in electric vehicle sales. The automaker aims to achieve carbon neutrality over the entire cycle of its vehicles by 2050, with intermittent targets of reducing CO2 emissions by 33% by 2030 and over 50% by 2035. Toyota is also focusing on manufacturing efficiency with autonomous processes to drive down costs. However, the company is sticking to its "multi-pathway approach" including hybrids and fuel cell vehicles.
