The CDC recommends repeated bivalent boosters for certain groups, but some experts suggest waiting for the next vaccine in the fall. Ultimately, experts agree that everyone should get the new vaccine to reduce the risk of hospitalization, death, and long COVID. The government needs to educate the public about the benefits of the next shot and the seriousness of the COVID risk.
