Zoom is set to release its own version of Google Docs called Zoom Docs, equipped with artificial intelligence capabilities to help users draft, edit, summarize, and collaborate on documents. The shared documents will be integrated into Zoom's platform, allowing users to work on them seamlessly across meetings, chat, desktop, and mobile apps. While Zoom faces competition from Microsoft and Google in the workplace content creation app market, it hopes to leverage its existing user base and streamline collaboration within its platform. The product is expected to be available in spring 2024, with pricing yet to be determined.
