Measles Exposure Alerts Spark Across SoCal After Disneyland Visits
Health officials say a traveler with measles, who arrived at LAX Monday on Viva Aerobus flight 518, visited Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel (10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.) and the Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park (12:30 p.m.–closing) through Wednesday, prompting exposure notices for those at risk from 7 to 21 days after exposure. The infected person also may have exposed people at Los Angeles International Airport’s Terminal B (10:45 p.m.–1 a.m. Tuesday) and was later seen at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Woodland Hills (3–4:45 p.m. Friday). Health officials urge individuals to check immunity status, watch for symptoms, and, if not immunized, contact a healthcare provider and limit interactions for up to 21 days after exposure. Nationally, 588 measles cases have been reported as of Jan. 30, 2026, with LA County accounting for its second case in 2026 and Orange County for its third.
