Syncros has launched the one-piece carbon fiber Capital SL wheelsets, which weigh just 1170g for the 40mm depth option and 1290g for the 60mm depth option. The wheels feature a 7% reduction in aero drag when used with the new Schwalbe Pro One Aero tires. The rims and spokes are constructed as one piece, resulting in lower rotating mass and increased stiffness. The hookless bead rims provide a smoother transition from the tire to the rim, reducing drag. The wheelsets have been optimized for aerodynamics and rolling resistance, and will be used by Team DSM-Firmenich in the upcoming Tour de France time trial.

Their wheelsets are made with NXS Design, a layup process that reduces weight while increasing strength and performance. The initial offering includes two wheelsets, the F+B 25 GR and the F+B 30 EM 29", both utilizing FusionFiber and NXS Design. The wheels are available online and will soon be at select dealers in the US and Canada.
