Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures is developing a musical adaptation of the hit romantic comedy "Crazy Rich Asians," with Jon M. Chu, the film's director, making his stage debut directing the musical. The production will feature a score by Tony-nominated composer Helen Park and a book by Leah Nanako Winkler, with a promise of a pre-Broadway engagement. The musical, which follows the story of a clash of classes when a woman meets her wealthy boyfriend's family, is being produced by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, and casting details are yet to be announced.
