
India's Space Agency Sets Sights on Sun and Venus, Announces PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is planning to explore the Sun with its upcoming Aditya-L1 mission and is also considering a mission to Venus. The proposed Venus mission aims to send an orbiter and a drone-like probe to gather information about the planet. The Aditya-L1 mission, which will study the Sun's radiation output and monitor solar plasma wind and storms, is expected to launch in September. Modi praised ISRO's successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon's South Pole, stating that India is pushing the boundaries of space exploration.
