Indian Navy Rescues US Ship Attacked by Houthi Drones off Yemen Coast
The Indian Navy's INS Visakhapatnam rescued the crew of the US-owned M/V Genco Picardy after it was attacked by Yemen's Houthi rebels near the Red Sea, with all 22 crew members reported safe. The attack, the 34th on commercial shipping in the region since Nov. 19, prompted the US to relist the Houthis as a terrorist organization, with Secretary of State Antony Blinken condemning the attacks and stating that the US will reevaluate the designation if the attacks cease.
