Multiple SEPTA Employees Injured in Work Accidents on Train Tracks

Two SEPTA employees were injured, one seriously, after being struck by a vehicle involved in rail tie removal work on the Norristown High-Speed Line in Radnor Township, Delaware County. One employee was treated and released, while the other was trapped under the vehicle for an hour before being stabilized and rushed to the hospital. The injuries are serious but not life-threatening. An investigation is underway, and shuttle buses are operating while the incident is being investigated. Scheduled track work has been canceled.
