A new report by Realtor.com predicts that certain cities in the United States will experience growth in home sales and prices in 2024. The forecast indicates that lower prices and mortgage rates will attract buyers, leading to a rebound in sales. Half of the top 10 cities are located on the West Coast, including Bakersfield and the Los Angeles/Long Beach/Anaheim areas. Additionally, Springfield and Worcester in Massachusetts, Rochester in New York, and Grand Rapids in Michigan are expected to see growth. The hottest housing market for 2024 is predicted to be Toledo, Ohio, with a 14% increase in the market and 8.3% growth in home sales.
