WTA's New Strategy: Equal Prize Money and More 1000 Level Tournaments.

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has announced a new tour calendar and pathway to equal prize money, with the goal of attaining equal prize money at combined WTA 1000 events by 2027 and single-week WTA 1000 and 500 events by 2033. The revised calendar structure will showcase the top players consistently playing the top events, while providing a structure for player mobility and growth opportunities, and facilitate the acceleration of WTA commercial growth and provide a sustainable economic model for tournaments and players.

Riyadh Air Launches with Massive Boeing 787-9 Fleet Order from Saudi Arabia

Riyadh Air, a new Saudi Arabian carrier owned by the Public Investment Fund, has ordered 39 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with options for 33 more, as part of Saudi Arabia's plan to transform the country into a global aviation hub. The fuel-efficient 787s will support the country's goal of welcoming 100 million visitors per year by 2030. The 787-9 provides the longest range of the 787 family of airplanes, flying approximately 300 passengers 7,565 nautical miles, with additional cargo capacity.
