Google's Latest AI Developments for Coding and App Development

Google has announced Studio Bot, an AI assistant for Android developers to help write and debug code. Built on Codey and the revised PaLM 2 large language model, Studio Bot is part of Android Studio and is currently only available to US developers. It behaves as a conversational experience, interacting with developers as an advisor. Google also announced plans to launch a Codey-based code generation tool that is more akin to GitHub's Copilot.
