SAG-AFTRA's chief negotiator, Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, thanked fans for their support and explained that cosplayers can combine their love for cosplay with their support for the strike, sending a united message to the industry. The panel discussion at San Diego Comic-Con also addressed the use of AI in entertainment and the need for new legal frameworks to protect performers' rights.
