Samsung has announced the upcoming global launch of the Galaxy SmartTag2 on October 11. The new SmartTag2 offers enhanced design and usability, providing users with more versatile ways to keep track of their valuables. The device features a brand-new Lost Mode that allows users to input their contact information, making it easier for anyone who discovers an item with a SmartTag2 attached to return it. The SmartThings Find app has also been upgraded, offering a full-screen map view and an intuitive interface. Additionally, the SmartTag2 now has a longer battery life, lasting up to 700 days in Power Saving Mode. The device's durability has been improved with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for outdoor use.
