Skytrax World Airline Awards 2023: Winners and Losers

Singapore Airlines has been named the best airline in the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards 2023 for the fifth time in the accolades’ 23-year history. Qatar Airways was ranked second, followed by Japan’s ANA All Nippon Airways in third position, Emirates fourth and Japan Airlines in fifth place. The awards were based on independent self-funded customer surveys across more than 325 airlines worldwide between September 2022 and May 2023.

Skytrax Announces Best Airports of the Year, Including Changi and Sea-Tac.

Singapore Changi Airport has been named the best airport in the world for 2023 by aviation rankings organization Skytrax, marking the 12th time it has topped the list. The best airports were largely concentrated in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, with Seattle-Tacoma International and Vancouver International Airports being the only two North American airfields on the list. New York LaGuardia International Airport's recently-overhauled Terminal B was named the best new airport terminal in the world for 2023, according to Skytrax.

Singapore's Changi Airport has been named the "world's best airport" for a record 12th time in the "World Airport Awards 2023" announced by Skytrax. The survey was participated by global travelers representing more than 100 nationalities. Changi Airport also won the titles of Best Airport in Asia, World's Best Airport — Dining, and World's Best Airport — Leisure Amenities. The airport plans to expand the capacity of its Terminal 2 building by 5 million passengers per year, and has begun upgrading works that are scheduled for completion by 2024.
