Singapore Changi Airport has been named the best airport in the world for 2023 by aviation rankings organization Skytrax, marking the 12th time it has topped the list. The best airports were largely concentrated in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, with Seattle-Tacoma International and Vancouver International Airports being the only two North American airfields on the list. New York LaGuardia International Airport's recently-overhauled Terminal B was named the best new airport terminal in the world for 2023, according to Skytrax.
Singapore Changi Airport has been named the world's best airport for 2023 by Skytrax, a UK-based airline and airport review and ranking site. The airport offers a wide range of facilities and amenities for all types of customers, including a 40-meter-tall indoor waterfall, a butterfly garden, and an IMAX cinema. Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, took second place, followed by Tokyo's International Airport, Incheon International Airport, and Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport. Skytrax also hands out other awards, including regional prizes, with Changi Airport nabbing the gong for Best Airport in Asia, as well as winning World's Best Airport Dining and World's Best Airport Leisure Amenities.
