Rahna, a 30-year-old giraffe, has been euthanized at the Milwaukee County Zoo due to age-related issues. She was well-known as the white or "blond" giraffe and had given birth to one calf, Skye, who now lives at the Sacramento Zoo. Rahna was beloved by zookeepers and had a personality that could be stubborn and opinionated. The giraffe building at the zoo will be closed on March 29 to mourn Rahna and comfort the other giraffes.
