SpaceX attempts historic back-to-back rocket launches.

SpaceX is set to launch two Falcon 9 rockets on Friday, with the first carrying the latest batch of Starlink satellites to orbit and the second delivering SES-18 and SES-19 telecommunications satellites to geosynchronous transfer orbit. Both launches will be available to stream live through SpaceX’s website. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is aiming for 100 launches in 2023, and the company pulled off 60 launches in 2022.

SpaceX Successfully Launches Back-to-Back Falcon 9 Rockets in Record Time.

SpaceX is set to launch two Falcon 9 rockets within five hours of each other on March 17. The first rocket will carry 52 Starlink internet satellites to orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, while the second will carry the SES-18 and SES-19 telecommunications satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Both rockets will feature rocket landings, with the Falcon 9 first stage coming down for a touchdown at sea on a SpaceX droneship less than nine minutes after liftoff.

Falcon 9 Launches Multiple Missions for SpaceX and SES.

SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket is set to launch SES 18 and SES 19 communications satellites for SES of Luxembourg on March 17, 2023. The satellites will provide C-band television and data services over the United States. The Falcon 9's first stage booster will land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. Launch viewing is available at the LC-39 Observation Gantry for $49 in addition to daily admission.
