Emma Stone is in talks to star in Yorgos Lanthimos' remake of the South Korean fantasy comedy "Save the Green Planet," expected to start shooting in the summer. The eccentric black comedy revolves around a disillusioned young man who captures and tortures a businessman whom he believes to be part of an alien invasion. Stone would likely play a supporting role, marking her sixth collaboration with Lanthimos. The project reunites Lanthimos with Element Pictures and CJ ENM, and is based on a screenplay by Will Tracy.
