Acer introduces new models to its Swift series, including the Swift Go 14 with an Imax Enhanced OLED display, Swift Go 16 with a 16-inch 3.2K Imax Enhanced OLED display, and Swift X 14 with RTX graphics. These laptops feature Intel Core Ultra processors and various display options, with prices starting at $750 for the Swift Go 14 and $1,400 for the Swift X 14.
Google is set to release two new Chromebooks with dedicated Nvidia RTX graphics cards, allowing for local gaming on the devices. The new Chromebooks will be built on Intel's 13th-generation chips and paired with Nvidia's RTX 4050 graphics card, as well as featuring newer DDR5 RAM. The laptops will also include a unique feature allowing them to bypass the battery and run directly on incoming power from the charger. It is unclear what market Google and its OEM partners are hoping to capture with these laptops.
