The family of 25-year-old Rasheem Carter, a Black man, is calling for a DOJ investigation into his death, which they believe was racially motivated. Carter's decapitated remains were found in three separate places in Mississippi, and his cause of death remains undetermined. Carter had warned his mother that he was being targeted by "truckloads of white guys" and had sent her a text message before he went missing. The family is protesting this Saturday at the Taylorsville SportsPlex.
