"Bulgaria Breaks Silence, Sends Military Aid to Ukraine Amid Invasion"

Bulgaria has agreed to send around 100 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine, marking a shift in its policy on military equipment exports to Kyiv. The decision comes after the appointment of a new pro-Western government, which approved the shipment of heavy military equipment to support Ukraine's battle for independence and territorial integrity against Russian aggression. The Soviet-made vehicles, originally delivered to Bulgaria in the 1980s, will be sent along with armaments and spare parts. The move has faced criticism from the Socialist party and pro-Moscow nationalists in Bulgaria.

Massive Pro-EU and Pro-Government Rallies Draw Tens of Thousands in Moldova

President Maia Sandu accused Russia of seeking to sabotage its European integration by fuelling anti-government protests and propaganda. Demonstrators called on Moldova's political leaders to amend the constitution to specifically mention the country's European orientation. The leader of the pro-Russian opposition Shor party, exiled businessman Ilan Shor, told his supporters at rival protests in several cities via video link that he would seek a referendum on Moldova's foreign policy.
