A Florida woman, Kendra Boone, stole a sheriff deputy’s patrol car after a confrontation at a shopping center, leading deputies on a high-speed chase before crashing into oncoming traffic, killing herself and two others. Boone, recently released from prison with a lengthy criminal history, had 13 felony charges and nine misdemeanor charges on her record. Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods expressed no sympathy for Boone and blamed her release for the tragic outcome, while defending his deputy's actions.
